Our Educational Program
GCA partners with the home and church to train our students in mind, body, and spirit.

Mind
Our students use the A Beka Book curriculum.  A Beka Book is well-known for its scholarly excellence and its thoroughly Christian content and perspective.

Body
Our students participate in physical education and health classes taught from a Christian perspective.  We do not offer interscholastic sports at this time.

Spirit
All students receive weekly instruction in Bible as well as attend chapel services during the week.  In addition, biblical truths are interwoven into the content of every class.

Enrolling in GCA

Step 1
Pick up an application packet at any of the regularly-scheduled services of Gateway Baptist Church.  You may also contact us or leave a phone message with your name and address to have a packet mailed to you.

Step 2

Upon receiving a completed application, a parent-student interview with a school administrator is scheduled.  This appointment is typically 30 minutes in length.

Step 3

Following the interview, students are accepted or denied by our school board.  The decision is made within seven days of the interview.

Upon acceptance, transcripts will be obtained, any necessary diagnostic testing will be done, and the curriculum and registration fees will be collected.  If acceptance occurs after August 10, the first tuition payment is collected as well.  A brief meeting with a school representative to review school uniforms and the supply list will be scheduled as well.
